The Spanish Confederation of Photography is the association of all the autonomous federations of Spain, which in turn associate the photographic clubs, associations or societies. These are dedicated to the promotion, teaching and study of photography, organizing contests, exhibitions and all those activities that promote art in photography as a means of cultural communication.
The Spanish Confederation itself is associated with the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), an international body of photography, recognized by UNESCO, as an NGO with operational relations. The CEF is in charge of managing the relations of its partners with this international organization through the personal figure of a representative or Official FIAP Liaison (Officier Liason FIAP).
Associated photographers are professionals or amateurs without distinction, who are moved only by the purely artistic interest that the plastic expression of photography allows to communicate.

La Confederación Española de Fotografía es la asociación de todas la federaciones autonómicas de España, la cuales a su vez asocian los club, asociaciones o sociedades fotográficas. Éstas están dedicadas a la promoción, enseñanza y estudio de la fotografía, organizando concursos , exposiciones y todas aquellas actividades que promocionen el arte en la fotografía como medio de comunicación cultural.La propia Confederación Española esta asociada a la Federación Internacional del Arte Fotográfico (FIAP), organismo internacional de la fotografía, reconocido por la UNESCO, como ONG con relaciones operacionales. La CEF es la encargada de gestionar las relaciones de sus socios con este organismo internacional a través de la figura personal de un representante o Enlace Oficial FIAP (Officier Liason FIAP).Los fotógrafos asociados son profesionales o aficionados sin distinción, a los cuales no les mueve más que el interés puramente artístico que la expresión plástica de la fotografía permite comunicar.
