Colectivo Las Niñas
Las Niñas collective is a group of female Chilean photographers that got together at the beginning of 2012, whose members are Macarena Peñaloza, Marcela Bruna y Pilar Díaz. It formed with the purpose of creating spaces to talk about photography and, at the same time, elaborate projects through different methodologies which include; the development of photo-essays, interventions, workshops and meetings. Their work has been displayed in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, both in art galleries and public spaces. They have participated in photography meetings and festivals such as; Festival Internacional de Fotografía de Valparaiso FIFV (Valparaiso’s International Photography Festival) Encuentro de Colectivos E.CO Brazil, (Collective meeting ECO Brazil) ELLA Encuentro de mujeres latinoamericanas Bolivia (Latin American Women’s Meeting “ELLA” Bolivia) and Traslaciones encuentro Fotográfico Concepción (Concepcion’s Photography Meeting “Traslaciones”) in Chile..

Colectivo Las Niñas es una agrupación de fotógrafas formada a comienzos del año 2012, compuesta por Macarena Peñaloza, Marcela Bruna y Pilar Díaz. Surge con la finalidad de crear espacios donde hablar sobre fotografía y a la vez elaborar proyectos fotográficos a través de distintas metodologías que abarcan el desarrollo de proyectos individuales y colectivos, intervenciones, talleres y encuentros de fotografía.
