The BasqueDokFestival is a documentary photography festival that shows the different local and international perspectives and realities that exist today.
Through lectures and practical workshops we will publicize and invite reflection and debate on documentary photography, the new challenges it faces and its evolution and future with the arrival of new technologies.
Organized by the EHU / UPV Faculty of Social and COMMUNICATION SCIENCES and the Blackkamera Documentary Photography School. The collaboration between the Faculty and the Blackkamera Photography School, with years of experience and a consolidated trajectory not only in the educational field of photography but also in the organization of dozens of Events, Masterclasses and Workshops with internationally recognized documentary photographers, makes make the BasqueDokFestival more relevant.

El BasqueDokFestival, es un festival de Fotografía documental, que muestra las diferentes miradas y realidades locales e internacionales, que existen en la actualidad.
A través de conferencias y talleres prácticos daremos a conocer e invitaremos a la reflexión y el debate sobre la fotografía documental, los nuevos retos a los que se enfrenta y su evolución y futuro con la llegada de las nuevas tecnologías.
Organizado por la Facultad CIENCIAS Sociales y de la COMUNICACIÓN de la EHU/ UPV y la Escuela de Fotografía documental Blackkamera. La colaboración entre la Facultad y la Escuela de fotografía Blackkamera, con años de experiencia y una trayectoria consolidada no solamente en el ámbito educativo de la fotografía sino en la organización de decenas de Eventos, Masterclass y Talleres con fotógrafos/as documentalistas reconocidos internacionalmente, hace que adquiera una mayor relevancia el BasqueDokFestival.
